The High Sierra Group/American
Food Safety Institute, a food inspection, certification, and auditing
organization gave its “Friends of the High Sierra Group Award”
to Midwest Bio-Systems recently.
The group stated
that the award is being granted “for your efforts to improve agriculture
around the world and the ethics and values you and your company have displayed
on many occasions. It is efforts such as these that lead by example and
are the core basis for business and personal success.”
The High Sierra
Group/American Food Safety Institute founder and president, Karl Kolb,
Ph.D. said, "AFSI considers Midwest Bio-Systems to have the
technological edge in this industry; their dedication to this industry
has developed composting into a science. It is exactly the right thing
to do when it comes to agriculture and the public health — there
is no other method which compares. Midwest Bio-Systems is a stand up company
that is a model for others to emulate."
Midwest Bio-Systems
is a leading company in manufacturing and design of advanced composting
systems. Their composting systems enable organic and natural producers
to turn waste products into healthy soil. Their work in creating the tools
to enable producers to create healthy soil is what drew the attention
of the High Sierra Group. “We are pleased to receive this acknowledgement
of our work toward building healthy soil for a healthier world,”
said Edwin Blosser, Midwest Bio-Systems founder and president.
