Bio-Systems has identified 22 measurable variables that define compost
quality from the chemical, biological, and physical perspectives. Our
Advanced Composting System (ACS) documents the production principles and
measurable process variables that guide compost producers in the production
of high quality compost.
The ACS Value System is a comprehensive set of tests
that measure the specific variables we identify with quality and value.
A numeric score is then computed to help guide compost producers assess
their compost quality and guide process changes that will improve future
quality.
